Meet Your Therapist
Amanda Lebron, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I know what it feels like to sit on the other side of the therapy room.
Hi, I’m Amanda Lebron, LCSW, founder of Artemis Point Counseling.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Experiencing what it means to feel truly seen and heard changed the way I understood therapy- and eventually helped shape the therapist I would become.
I provide individual telehealth counseling to adults throughout Connecticut.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
I bring more than a decade of experience in behavioral health and social work, working with adults across community-based, residential, healthcare, and veteran-serving settings.
My own military service has also shaped my understanding of resilience, transition, identity, and how our experiences can influence the way we move through life.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Master of Social Work — Southern Connecticut State University, 2021
Bachelor of Science in Human Services — Post University, 2018
MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
Calm. Compassionate. Conversational.
I believe feeling comfortable and understood is an important part of therapy. I work to create a space where you can speak openly, explore what you’re experiencing, and feel supported without judgment or pressure.
I listen, but I also engage in the process with you. Together, we may notice patterns, explore different perspectives, and make connections that bring greater understanding to what you’re experiencing. When helpful, I’ll gently challenge you to consider something in a new way while respecting your pace and where you are in the process.
I don’t believe a diagnosis defines who you are. You are the expert on your own life, and therapy should make room for your experiences, strengths, values, and your own definition of progress.
